A small workbench for making files
SVG / DXF Tools is a local engineering preview for converting one monochrome JPG or PNG into sized, closed outlines. It is intended for logos, silhouettes and simple artwork with holes or separate parts. Processing stays in your browser; no account is needed.
The public operator of this tool is the TraceDXF project team.
What should I check before using a file?
The current outline follows pixel edges. It does not recover engineering dimensions, smooth curves or create centerline engraving paths. A self-made 100 × 70 mm SVG/DXF calibration was imported into LightBurn 2.1.04 Core on 7 October 2026; its recorded size, holes, island and orientation were correct. Other artwork, other software versions, Cricut and machining behaviour remain unverified. Check the size, orientation and holes in your target software before cutting.
Where can I get help?
The method page explains threshold adjustment, missing holes, pixel steps, size and format choice. The privacy page explains when your work is cleared.
Opens your email app. A feedback email is only sent when you choose to send; images and files are never attached automatically.
Include the format, browser and target software version, expected size, and what went wrong. Share a file only if you have permission and choose to attach it.
